Open Call for Artists: “The Art of Love” Exhibition
Awita New York Studio is excited to invite local and international artists to share their interpretations of love in our upcoming exhibition, The Art of Love. Running from February 8 to 27, 2025, with an opening night on February 8, 6-9 pm, this exhibition celebrates love in all its forms.
Special Opportunity:
All participants will be entered into a contest for a chance to win a solo show at Awita New York Studio. The winner will be selected by guest votes on paper ballots, and the prize is a three-day solo show at our gallery!
Submission Details:
• File Types (International Artists): JPG, PNG
• Max File Size: 100 MB
• File Naming: All file names must include the artist’s name, artwork title, size, medium, and price (e.g., JaneDoe_LoveInBloom_$500.jpg).
• Dimensions: High resolution, suitable for printing and display.
• Mediums Accepted: Painting, photography, ceramics, sculpture, and illustration.
• Deadline: First come first serve basis.
Participation Fees Apply.
For Local Artists:
• Drop-off Dates: February 5 or 6, 1-5 pm at Awita New York Studio, Brooklyn.
• Larger works accepted (up to 3ft x 3ft) as no printing is required. Multiple smaller pieces may also be submitted.
This flexible pricing structure accommodates various artwork sizes and ensures fairness.
• A 4% credit card transaction fee applies if using the studio’s payment system.
For International Artists:
• Printing and Framing: We provide professional printing and framing services for your work in New York City.
• Framing Contribution: If your artwork sells, we will contribute $25 toward framing costs.

In honor of International Women’s Day, we are proud to present the Women’s Show from March 5–17, 2024, at Awita New York Studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This exhibition is a tribute to the power, creativity, and resilience of women artists from all over the world, providing a platform for their voices and stories to shine.
Join us on Opening Night, March 8, from 6–9 PM, to celebrate the diverse artistry and unique perspectives of women in the arts. Let’s come together to recognize their contributions, connect as a creative community, and celebrate the spirit of this global day of recognition.

LOOKING FOR INTERNS
**Awita New York Studio** is looking for two part-time, unpaid intern artists (non-students) with availability 2 times a week (12hrs).
**Responsibilities include**:
- Keeping the studio clean and organized.
- Assisting with setting up art shows as needed.
- Researching and discovering new artists for upcoming exhibitions.
**Benefits**:
- Opportunity to participate in our group shows.
- Access to studio space during gallery hours, including a designated work corner.
- Potential for a solo show after completing at least 6 months of internship.
-Monthly unlimited MTA card.
